Frederick Woodard

Fred Woodard, Director of Investigations is a United States Marine Corps veteran, retired Pittsburgh Police detective and DEA Task Force Officer. During his time in law enforcement, Fred was involved in and directed many complex state and federal investigations involving high-level drug trafficking organizations operating on local, state, national and international levels.

As a result of his hard work and dedication, Fred was honored five times as a recipient of the Pittsburgh Police “Officer of the Month” award, and named Pittsburgh Police “Officer of the Year” for his role in the investigation and successful prosecution of what was described by then U.S Attorney General John Ashcroft as the largest drug trafficking organization in the history of Western Pennsylvania. Throughout the course of his career, Fred received many awards and commendations from local, state and federal agencies including the DEA, FBI, IRS and others.

 Upon retirement from law enforcement, Fred became a licensed private investigator, performing a wide variety of investigations. Fred joined the The Asservo Project as Director of Investigations in 2018 after a chance meeting with police academy classmate, founder and CEO Joe Sweeney.
